Based in Los Angeles California Thomas Westly Johns, III (Designer/Creative lead) began sketching clothing and silhouettes at a very early age. This led to a passion that had to be discovered, Thomas Johns spent the majority of his childhood living in Maryland --located about 15 mi from Washington D.C. In Thomas' household his parents stressed honesty, equality, and integrity, which led him to develop a passion for civil and human rights. He honed his technical skills at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) and USC.
The Westly Johns brand specializes in creating one of a kind luxury designs. This is reflected through customized fabrics, intricate detailing, structural lines, and the balance of masculine and feminine characteristics. Each collection is inspired by shapes, architecture, colors and other nostalgic attributes from Thomas’ childhood and travels as an adult. Within each collection the idea is to instill a sense of confidence and effortlessness. The Westly Johns brand represents the classic man and woman who appreciate an innovative edge.
